Suspects in custody, charges pending after Montgomery pursuit - WSFA

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Law enforcement officers took multiple people into custody Tuesday morning following a police pursuit that ended on Day Street, near the I-65/85 interchange.

According to Montgomery police, officers attempted to pull over a vehicle around 10:50 a.m. that had been reported stolen out of the Millbrook area. The driver refused to stop and officers began pursuing the vehicle.

Multiple Montgomery officers and other members of law enforcement responded to the scene and ultimately were able to stop the vehicle and take the suspects into custody.

Details on the suspects’ identities were not immediately released. Police did add that charges are pending.
