TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a juvenile driver faces possible charges after a deadly crash that blocked traffic on I-10 Monday, Aug. 23.
A 65-year-old man was killed in the crash near 22nd Street in Tucson.
I-10 eastbound was closed for several hours as the crash was investigated.
Investigators suspect the juvenile was impaired at the time of the crash. He was later released to his father, pending charges, according to DPS.
According to tweets from ADOT, the accident was reported around 3 p.m. and the road was reopened by 5:30 p.m.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
