GRAND FORKS — A dead man was found in a downtown Grand Forks alley Thursday afternoon, but the person has yet to be identified.
Grand Forks County’s coroner is examining a body in the alley that abuts DeMers Avenue between North Third Street and North Fourth Street. Grand Forks police were called there around 12:15 and have since blocked off the alley.
Lt. Andrew Stein, a police spokesperson, said authorities expect to identify the body by the end of the day.
