A total demolition permit application has just been filed at 3200 Biscayne in Edgewater, where a hotel is planned by Urbanica.
A construction permit is already in review since January, and a tree permit is pending since December.
Miami’s Zoning Department also issued a final decision on waivers needed for the development on May 24.
According to the construction permit, the new development will include:
- 199 hotel rooms
- 4,731 square feet of restaurant
The hotel rooms will be located on levels 4 through 8, with a total of 176,111 square feet over five floors. The restaurant will be located on level 1.
Total hard construction cost is estimated at $31,648,351. Total size of construction is 180,842 square feet.
