WARREN — Charges are pending against a driver of a pickup truck who lost control of his vehicle Thursday night and crashed into a house.
The crash was reported at 7:55 p.m. Feb. 16 to Knox County Regional Communications. A 2002 GMC Sierra driven by Erik Moody, 32, of Bremen, approached the intersection of Wottons Mill Road and Eastern Road (Route 131) when he failed to stop at the stop sign, lost control of the vehicle, and crossed a yard on Eastern Road before striking a house, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
The truck ended up on its side next to the house. Two exterior walls of the home were damaged.
No one in the house was injured. Moody was taken to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport with minor injuries.
Warren emergency medical services and fire department assisted the Sheriff’s Office. Camden Exxon towed the vehicle.
