Every NFL team goes through roster turnover in the offseason, and the Philadelphia Eagles are no exception. As one of the best teams in the league last year, it was to be expected that many of the players that stepped up would earn opportunities and paydays elsewhere (and they did).
The results were as they are every offseason in March. Former Birds earned deserved paydays that were given to them by other franchises. While keeping a phenomenal roster intact would have been nice, salary cap limitations prevented the team from re-signing everyone, and the task began of rebuilding the depth chart.
Before we go any further, here's a recap and a moment of silence for some of the most frustrating and annoying losses.
