MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- A married couple was arrested after a complaint led deputies to find drugs and guns inside their home.
Investigators served a search warrant at the home and found drugs, packaging materials, several guns, and a variety of ammunition around the house. A child inside the house was turned over to another member of their family.
The husband is said to have been convicted of felonies in Georgia and Texas, according to a Facebook post from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
The couple now faces charges of distribution, possession, and other offenses involving ecstasy, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime, cruelty to children in the 2nd degree, receipt, possession, or transfer of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft by receiving stolen property, and others with even more charges pending.
